When we pulled up to the block at 8am, the digger had well and truly started and we met with our SS and went over a few details etc. He seems really nice and helpful so I'm grateful for that.

With the prediction for rain for most of this coming week I'd say this will quickly turn into a mud pit and nothing further will get done. Oh well, happy to have reached day 1!

Thanks girls! Have been keeping a close eye in the weather forecast (as I have heard so many other builders say!), the weather people are never right anyway so who knows what might happen!

Yay!! Fantastic relief when things start to get underway and all that planning starts to turn into something tangible. I too am watching the forecast for next week, which looks like Monday is a bit patchy and the rest of the week clear so far...I will keep my fingers and toes crossed too!
