Ground Breaking News (literally) !

After a phone call to our SS on Tuesday morning (we hadn't heard from him yet) and him not knowing who we were and then waking up to solid showers yesterday , we were wondering if our site cut would in fact go ahead at all.

When we pulled up to the block at 8am, the digger had well and truly started and we met with our SS and went over a few details etc.  He seems really nice and helpful so I'm grateful for that.

With the prediction for rain for most of this coming week I'd say this will quickly turn into a mud pit and nothing further will get done.  Oh well, happy to have reached day 1!

7 sleeps to go!

All systems go ... !

As the title suggests ... we are finally moving forward.  We have finally been issued with a start date ... 27th April.  Only 16 more sleeps until we see some movement on the block!  We were really hoping for an April start date so we're pretty happy that we got the 27th.
It's all starting to feel a bit real now ... yippee!
